When you stick your finger in mud, it gets dirty.

I just got back from the Spastic Children's Association School's Sports day. This is the 2nd year running that i've gone for their sports day to help..

Not that I do much, but it was fun anyway.

Things are much better this year.. though the same problems cropped up. But things weren't that bad, because i more or less identified them and tried to help jules. And Jules has a better temper then me. Much better temper.

Anyway, it was weird being there, as a civilian volunteer, when my unit was there, as in, these used to be my colleagues, my friends, my guys, my storemen etc.. And seeing them still enslaved kinda feels weird, when i'm doing this for fun..

It was nice that i managed to catch up with some of them though. I realized how much i missed well, at least, the old 20SA.. with everyone in it. But banquets don't last forever, and good times are meant to be memories.

It makes me want to meet them more often.

-----

I am not a very sociable person by nature. Pardon me when i say that. I don't mix with new people easily. So.. i may seem mean, or cold, (like a certain somebody whom i'm terrified of, and melchen/marie dislikes very much), but really.. i'm not. : )

-----

I am begginning to dwelve deeper into my faith, and I feel so, i dunno, at peace. I feel happy. I feel good. I like my job, I love my colleagues, and everything seems to be going so fine and dandy. Praise G-d. (actually got alot of boo boos.. especiaily England. : (.. but alls fine and dandy! because i trust in Him. : ) )

-----

Things i want to do:

1) Watch Rossini's Stabat Mater, at the University Cultural Centre on 17 June, anyone interested can message me. I think Pinky and Yansy will want to. Maybe. but its sacred music. Prices, 28 and up.

2) Print my Anti-Da Vinci Code Poster to put up on my table in school. I want to let Catholic Teachers in my school know that we should not condone insults so easily.

3) Go to Bangkok.. using the Tiger Airways offer, but July to Oct is a weird time because we all need to work and go to school and stuff.

4) Find work at FJ Benjamin. La Senza, Raoul, Whatever.

5) Do something for my Form Class, i think some girls did really well for their MYE, and i think i should do something to boost their morale.

6) Decide on UK. Sigh.

7) Close any chapters in my life that needs closing, and slam shut a particular chapter that just opened that makes me hurt where my heart is.

Why i must say so.

Praise the Lord! The semester works done. Alls left is to moderate the 4 girls who failed. Then i'll be busy doing up the report books and preparing for the Parent-teacher conferencing.

But thats not as bad as marking exam scripts.

I've a bad headache from lack of sleep for the past 3 days. : (

Ok. I've got to clarify why i don't want to watch Da Vinci Code, neither do i, a literary nut want to finish its novel either.

Da Vinci code, in my opinion, was written to discredit the Catholic Church, and my Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ. It aims to discredit the Gospels according to Sts Mark, Luke, John and Mathew. It spews continuous lies about Jesus, and my Church. There is no value of entertainment in watching an insult to my beliefs, and to my lifestyle.

Cloistered? Narrow minded? I think not. I love and I trust my Church to be good and pure. Simply because i believe it has the mandate of God. How do i know that? Because i have experienced His love and His graces. And that is the most amazing thing that can happen to anyone. So. Don't tell me that my church is a lie.

Literary marvel or thriller? I would go with the word, thriller. No doubt, not all of us are maestros with thrill writing, i applaud Mr Dan Brown for that. But surely, entertainment at the expense of my religion? or my beliefs? or my God?

No way.

I just feel sad for the Catholics and Christians alike who insist that it is in the name of entertainment that they read such books and marvel in it and await longingly for such movies. They take the mocking of Jesus as entertainment. So sad. We might as well accept the Gospel of Judas into The canonical Gospels?

By the way, there is a difference between the Gospel of Judas/Thomas/Mary Mag, and the Gospel ACCORDING to Mark/Luke/John/Mathew. One is written by those people, and the latter is an inspired account by eyewitnesses.

In this modern world, we still see millions of muslim people rioting and engaging in acts of violence against the embassies of countries who are not sensitive enough to the beliefs of the muslims. Surely, i am not instigating violence, but, surely, as Catholics and Christians, as people who unite under the Nicene Creed, and recite the I believe every week, as people who celebrate the birth, death and resurrection of Christ every week, as people who engage in the act of remembering the covenant that God made with us on Passover/Maundy Thursday, we must stand up to our beliefs and not let those who insult our religion earn obscene amounts of money.

Let that be known as Blood money. Money earned from insulting Jesus.

And you are providing it.

How about that for a thought Brothers and Sisters in Christ?

You rawk my socks off.

And so, the schedule is entirely packed till well.. erm.. next week. yay. I hardly have time for myself.

I used to think very often, that we should always build meaningful friendships in our lives, and maintain it. But when i look at my schedule, i feel awful ironic to see that i see and meet different people everyday, and do different things all the time. Theres no sense of, belonging, or something, no cliques, no.. groupies. I'm just a wondering nomad, and i like it.

I'm done with the SA marking AT LAST, and am now left with 3 stacks of CA. : (

Had PE lesson with the girls today. First time!

And i blew my top at one of the classes. I made them sit in the basketball court in their uniform for one period since they were not interested. I walked out on one of my english classes also. They were simply not interested! It was horrible. I hated it.

Today's a really bad day at school with so many boo boos. sigh. what a life. I'm hating it.

I'm waking up extra early tommorow no matter what, to go for mass.

These days, i feel a very very deep itching desire to go and receive communion. I ache for the liturgy of the eucharist, most literally. I can really feel the pain in my heart, and i know it is the desire to be in the glory of Christ's passion. It cannot be explained. I was never like that.

The Liturgy of the Eucharist is so beautiful and so meaningful.

back to marking. sigh.

Rock on? nah...

I'm going to teach PE from thursday onwards, PE + English. And i don't have enough PE clothes. Darn. Just when i went to shop for more long sleeved shirts and pants. sigh. how unpredictable life can be.

Just watched MiIII with them. And it sucked. Tom Cruise was old, and the actresses that acted opposite him either looked like Katie Holmes, or Nicole Kidman. Which was probably why he was happy... And when Katie-holmes-lookalike did CPR on him. it was so fake! Wrong position, wrong grip, wrong everything. She's teaching people the wrong stuff!!!!!

Tired. Beyond words.

-------

An introspective perhaps. A blaise accusation i would say. I have words and thoughts for YOU beyond your imagination. You have disappointed me sorely. period. Please don't expect me to contact you, ever again.

Fact from fiction?

oh goodness. Today.. the wardens were missing!!!!! I was in the basement carpark.. depserately going round and round and round wondering who's car should i block for mass!! HAha.. then this uncle.. i guess he pretty much noticed i was going round and round decided to direct me to park right infront of his car! When i got out of the car.. he said.. "After mass quickly come back ah!".. I was like.. erm.. ok, thank you uncle.. haha.

It was difficult to concentrate during mass with so much on my mind.. I kept looking around.. amusing myself at the fidgetty guy sitting on my left (he was CONSTANTLY fidgetting, and it was funny). What struck me was Fr Anthony's homily on the Church being The Mother Church, and that we are, a big loving community. We sure are!

Fr Gerard kissed his mother after eucharist. I actually thought to myself that his mum was probably really really old.. and lo and behold! She actually looks young. haha. Then again, Fr Gerard's not very old you know..

Just picked up another 2 stacks of markings from Ashley.. and will start soon. maybe after lunch. Hmmmmm......

-----

I found my UK visas form and all the rubbish forms i've to fill up and send in before june (uh oh!).. And they look really disgusting. I hate filling up forms. Urrrgh.

My table is in a mess. I feel like a 15 year old kid.

Why can't teachers blog?

-----

Anyway.. just got back from viewing the show flat at One Amber. The two room flat was BEAUTIFUL. they used the Philip Starck lantern that melchen's been raving about. AND IT WAS BLOODY STUNNING. if i had my own place.. it'll be like that. AND AND... I dont think i can do that to my dorm. : (

We went to look at furniture also.. And it was all lovely and nice.. but nothing that i really liked. Oh wells.

I don't really like looking at show flats. they make you feel depressed after you come home. Haha..

THERES WORK TOMMOROW!!! That sucks. big. time. And and. and. and. and. I need a holiday! Ok. Operation SavingMoney starts tommorow. limiting myself to 3 dollars a day, transportation notwithstanding.

I hate marking.

MAJ Chang doesn't know what Rawks mean. when i tell him, it means Rocks. Like Rocks my world. he's like. erm. i still don't get it. He's damn funny. In a natural way.
