I don't want to groove with you. : ( go away!

This disturbs me greatly. They are 2 times my age, 20 when i was born, only had internet when they were at least 28 and never had a handphone till their mid 20s.

What kind of life is that.

I don't want to 'groove' or 'chill' with people 20 years my senior!? They're old enough to be my parents!! shucks.

I want MPs who are proper, serious, and well, you know.. Guai.. Like Lee Hsien Loong, Lim Hng Kiang, Chan Soo Sen, and what not.

I don't want MPs who do Hip hop, or talk like they're from the Bronx!!!!!!! I want MPs who can protect my interests, save my CPF, keep my kids in school, and rigeur the economy!

I don't care if my MPs go to Zara, are models, or are 'groovy'. whateverthatmeans. Dun come out so many pattern leh. Very disgusting. : (


On the other hand.

I never had a handphone till i was 16.

I never had a regular internet connection at home till i was 14.

I did not have my own computer till i was 14.

There was no Dota then.

I played with SEGA when i was a kid.

There was no Xbox, Playstation or PSP.

I fooled around with my neighbours climbing trees, riding bikes, running around bare foot, and picking saga seeds, digging earth worms, and catching tadpoles when i was in Pri school.

Goh Chok Tong was Prime Minister.

Wee Kim Wee was President, so was Ong Teng Cheong.

Bill Clinton had his hands on Monica Lewinsky's boob.

Anwar was being arrested for crimes i did not understand.

Mother Theresa was walking Kolkata

Pope JPII came to Singapore.

Suharto was being impeached

Gloria was sworn in after an uprising

Michale Jackson wasn't gay

Princess Diana was still Princess of Wales

TCS was called SBC.

Lee Kuan Yew had more hair.

And chewing gum wasn't illegal.

Wet days.

Its another wet and gloomy morning at Manchester. It has been raining for the past 4 days or so, and when i mean rain, its the mid-temperate cyclone kind of rain. Doesn't stop.

Its freezing out there, and I'm extremely reluctant to get out of my cocoon, even though i have to go to the bank, get my banking details sorted, go to School to get my readings for week 3, and meet Fr Ian at the chaplaincy at 2.30.

Then I still need to come back and mug until 6.30 where i've got to meet some people for a movie.

The temperature is hovering around 8, 9 and 10.. and for some exceptional reason, i'm beginning to get used to it. Thank goodness. I think if i go back to singapore now, i might possible melt! haha

I didn't expect my students or any of my students from SAC to miss me, well.. because i was techinically, very mean to them. Haha. who ever heard of a PE teacher who made his student run ROUNDS round the school field shouting the school song at the top of their voices? WHO!? haha.. And all the crazy punishments i make them do. Push-ups, crunches and all that stuff.. my goodness.. even my Sec school PE wasn't HALF that tough.. we just mulled around and play stupid games every week. heh.

Going to scotland this weekend. yay.

In a middle of climbing outta well.

I am in kind of a rut right now. I don't really know what this is all about, but my mood's pretty low after somebody said something to me. And it occured to me that, it is probably the most difficult thing in the world, to be Child-like for the Kingdom of God. I'm finding myself struggling to fend for my own sanity, and it feels as if I'm climbing a smooth wall to no avail. That sensation, it feels weird.

Just pray for me.

I was just wondering and thinking about tommorow's inaugural bible sharing at the chaplaincy, and this reading, just boldened itself on the Universalis.com page i was reading.

It just speaks so much about us, as a community, as brothers and sisters in Christ, that because we are sanctified in Christ, we are more then friends, we are Brothers and we are Sisters in christ. Doesn't that make community life more valuable then ever?

but then again, its a good well.... REFRACTION (i won't say reflection) of our youth today. All weirded emo peoples.
