London bridge is falling down. falling down. falling down.

Actually. I didn't get to see London Bridge/Tower Bridge this time. Didn't have enough time. But... All in all... London Rawks My Socks Off!!

Even before I got on the bus, I already started enjoying myself. Hah.

While waiting for the bus, I met this lady who is pursuing her PhD in Physics in Liverpool now, and she was telling me all about her crazy travelling experiences after she graduated.. She shared how she lost 1000 pounds in Australia, and ended up staying in Aussy for 4 months to work and earn back that money! Haha.. and how she ended up in Singapore, Thailand and Laos too.

THe bus ride was horrendous. 6 hours of hell. Enough said.

But as we were pulling into London city itself, it was amazing. Every house was like out of the 1960s Mary Poppin's movie.. all tall facade, and large columnar buildings. It was so beautiful. The buildings were so obviously proud, yet not arrogant, and at the same time, elegant, even after 200 years in existence. It made my day.

The tube was rather harrowing. It was like a mad rush for goodness knows what! But somehow, I enjoyed that rush, it made me feel like I was back in Singapore again, mad rushing always mad rushing.

Met Mr Wee and Ted, who's Ted? Ted is my senior, from SAS and SAJC. How did i know him? Never did till London. He was 3 years my senior. hah.

We ate at this fantastic chinese restaurant at bayswater. Well worth the wait! And it was ted's treat. : P. By far, the BEST meal i've eaten since coming to England.

Stayed at Astor Hyde park. The buildings there again, were amazing. Late victorian, flushed white terraces with beautiful plaster deco and cornices. My perfect neighbourhood dream! But the hostel was pretty crappy, and i was kept well awake the whole damn night becuase of my spanish room mates.

London was amazing. I think i mentioned that already. It had so much color, so much vibrancy, and the history, Oh the history! After 1000 years, this place is still the adminsitrative capital, and that kinda adds alot to the whole culture and vibrancy, which i doubt can be emulated anywhere in the world. This puts London as my favourite city after Singapore! hah.

Visited Westminster Abbey, went to Westminster Cathedral for Morning mass, went to Picadilly Circus, and Leicester Square, and had a short walk round chinatown.

The highlight of this journey I would say, would have been to just sit at this little Italian Cafe by Leicester Square, and sip authentic Cappucino that tasted Oh So Heavenly (so much so i had to have 2), and nibble on the home baked bagel and watch people walk by. I enjoyed it so much, I sat there for a whole damn hour just doing nothing and relaxing!

All in all, there were colours that you possibly could not have seen elsewhere in the world. This sense of earthiness, probably a last burst of colour before the warmth of the year dies into frosty white. But this colour that I saw in London, was amazingly beautiful. It was so elegant and earthen, so much so I was practically captivated by it every single moment.

And here.. squirrels are like cats in singapore.. they just happily run all over the place and pose for pictures.

I truly have fallen in love with London.

Whoopy! Daylight Saving Time kicks in NOW. So i just gained 1 hour. yay.

P.s To my jumping crew in Singapore. Its time to visit England. I need people take jumping shots with. Can't possibly jump myself right?

Tsk tsk,

I am suprised I have friends that are OLDER then me, and they're 20 times more childish. hahaha.

Raymon Raphael Theodore Emily Tan Min Wei: my skype name is not retarded u are. And I have good normal healthy visions. not like u. I'm getting confirmed soon. Woohoo!

GQ. why isit like a hate blog? Because of Chen weishan? well. SHE DESERVES IT! MAGNETO'S BEST FRIEND IS CHEN KO WAYNE SHAN. HOOOOW DOOO UUU FEEEEL WEISHAN!!??

Clement. ur an idiot. u always will be.

melch dun worry. i find u very weird too. and we haven't talked about the burst tyre incident yet. so you're weirder.

The vision thing is stuck in my mind.. Its very weird. like a mosiac of masses or something. Bloody bank hasn't sent me my credit card yet. urgh. cannot buy my train tickets to london. I'm going to london. NO MATTER WHAT.

To hear your voice better.

I am so tired. Even though I slept 10 hours last night.

At least i managed to finish my stupid industrial minerals essay. shucks.

Weekend was plain. International night on friday night, trafford centre + chinatown on saturday, and church and dinner at a friend's on sunday. I'm rather poofed i daresay.

Looking forward to london next week.

Ran into Jennie and Glen, who were walking back from the train station from their trip to London this weekend. : ( shucks. could've joined them. If i did my essay earlier. But oh well.. travelling alone's more fun actually.

I thought about self fulfilment, and it was a question whether that was in reality, an emotion, or what? I dunno.

But i can safely say that I am not feeling a single bit of self fulfilment at all. My life, is not full. Very much unlike when i was in singapore.

Its an odd feeling. I used to lead a life that when i wake up in the morning, the only grumblings i have are about erm. well.. maybe the noisy girls that i have to handle in school. But never anything as severe as self-fulfilment or whatever. I knew with great consciousness that i was spending my time wisely, and growing as a result of my activities. I had fun, i worked, and was serious when i needed to. Now. i just can't feel it.

I can't see my feet. I'm not bored. I'm not grumpy. I'm just.. out of sorts. Its a weird God-less feeling.

I was serving mass today. I sat at Father's left as the book carrier.. so i had a good view of everything that was going on during the liturgies..

It was like lost. One moment, I could hear Fr Gerard saying mass, and another moment I could hear Fr Ho coughing, and another moment, I saw Fr Anselm speaking, and again, I saw Fr Aloysius raising the chalice. It was very weird. It was like.. i dunno.. very confused, and tense.. cus all my mind was filled of. was. different scenes of masses celebrated by different priests in different places.

I saw Fr G, Fr Ho, Fr Anselm, Fr Aloysius, Fr Erbin, Fr Bosco, that jesuit priest at the canossian convent, Fr Tou, Fr Francis in SFX, Holy Fam, St Anthony's Chapel, Canossian convent, SPP, QOP, Christ the king.

It was just very very weird. I dunno how to describe. It was like. a Vision. or something.
