So we press with eager feet!

"Up Boys (Saints)! truest fame
Lies in high endeavour;
Play the game! keep the flame
Burning brightly ever!"

After singing this song for 12 years, it has more or less become part of my life. I felt a great sudden urge to sing it suddenly, and that message, couldn't be more true. Truest fame lies in high endeavour.

It is like, words, reaching from the grave. No one ever speaks like that anymore.

Going back to work has so far been fun. Hah. I seriously cannot imagine myself saying that out loud!! I made several mistakes making coffee though (oops).. too much cream.. too little foam. etc etc. but its all still good. Hopefully it remains like this till the end of the term.

Post-confirmation. My feelings. I dunno. I don't feel that spectacular change of 7 gifts, 9 attributes. I just feel me. Like its always been the same. I would say that I have found myself alot more whilst preparing myself for confirmation. Some of it frightens me, some even threatens the whole entire foundation of my faith, beliefs, and even morals. Yet.. I can only say.. I can sing of your love forever!

I just wanted to bring a verse of my school song to your attention. Anything that has been sung for more then 100 years cannot go wrong. : D

Oh yes.. I was strangely very very very x1000000 pleased when the nice lady liked my hot chocolate. Like. very very pleased. It made me happy.

Update:

The man who wrote the lyrics to my school song, John Oxenham, also known proper as
William Arthur Dunkerley, was born in Manchester. Tell me that isn't freaky. Because for one.. I feel chills down my spine.

Be sealed in the Holy Spirit.

At last, confirmation day.

Its been a tremendously long difficult, and tiring journey fraught with many tests, trails, and pain. I am very glad I have made it.

I'm just going to talk about what I got for confirmation.. because I'm feeling tired. haha.

Sr Joan gave me an envelope of gifts, which includes a cross, a confirmation medal, and a beautiful card with an olive leaf from the garden of gethsamane which i will value so much for the rest of my life. It is such an apt and beautiful gift... a small piece of leaf from the sad garden.. It just reminds me so much about what He had to go through for us all. I still remember tearing when Sr Joan handed me the gifts last year, just before she went for her major operation, just in case. it was very sad. I just wanna thank and praise God that she's fully recovered today, and is well enough to be with us.

Sylvain and Clare gave me a bag of candies.. so funny.. the most amusing of them all.. Its gonna last a long long time. Clare was my sponsor! heh.

Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of the mass itself, but only a picture with the Bishop Terence, Bishop of Salford Diocese. I think he thought i was pretty strange when i kept addressing him as Your Grace.. but thats we do back home init?

There are many things on my mind now, and I'm feeling very zapped, probably from being so anxious and stressed during mass.

school starts tommorow. Its been a good start to the year so far. Praise God!

very strange cravings.

2 very sudden strange cravings.

Korean period serial dramas, and Zhang Yi Mou movies.

I ended up bidding for Ying Xiong and Shi Li Mai Fu, or Hero, and House of Flying Dagger to the western world.

I remember watching them several years back and loving every sequence. Zhang Yimou is like. THE director man.

Watched the Dae Chang Geum interview in Korean.. couldn't stop laughing.. Cui Sang Goong is sooo funny. Hell.. the chinese subtitles were in fanti.. had a hardtime reading it in youtube.

Nakered from walking around town ALL bloody day with Andrea Loke, who wanted to buy a mirror and basket. haha.

Never felt so tired in a long time. maybe its time to sleep. : q
