I thought moving to the new room will be bad. But the new kitchen is worse.
The bloody oven ah.. wah lau eh. Put in my pizza for 20 mins already.. only the outside hot, inside still cold as ice. sigh.
The new room rocks though. haha.. its bigger then my old room. : P
And theres internet! Not that there wasn't internet in my previous room.. but the accom staff said that there might not be internet for a few days when we move to our new rooms. And voilanska! Let there be High Speed Internet!
Yaaayy.. so i can still annoy people online.
Yes. i am very bored. I've been soo freaking busy the whole term.. and suddenly.. the term ends.. i am left with erm. BOREDOM. Because everyone has gone back home. and or doing something for the next 2 days..
i'm going caving tommorow anyway. oh well.

Its a monster to behold..
I always had a bad temper. If you did know me long enough, or even worse, worked under me, you would've known that I am very bad tempered, and when i scold, you probably wished you were never born, or, i was dead.
Undoubtedly, many of those who had a taste of my tongue lashing actually comment that they've never been scolded like that all their lives. But thats just because I am a alligator-devouring monster. The greatest insult ever was to call me nice.
Then again most of the time, people get away with anything and everything with me. Just because I'm most of the time, ignorantly blissful.
There are always days when I wake up in the morning, and looking at the mess on my room floor, the sun ain't shining from my ass. Dark cloud gathers rapidly, and anyone, anyone in my way will be blown to bits. Today, was nearly one of those days.
I did blow a few people off with my human-devouring look, and the incessant deep breaths that sound like an angry dragon puffing, not to mention, the gnarling of my teeth to imply my hunger for human flesh. All in all, I just wasn't in the mood for 2 things, stupid questions, and pointless talk.
I learnt in OCS that pointless talk = death, because pointless talk = time wastage = time wasted on fighting the enemy = more land lost = more collateral damage = more civilian casualties = bad. And I also had a penchant for long stretches of intense concentration. It seems fucking selfish and unfriendly most of the time, but it would be accurate to say that I hate useless talk when I'm doing work. I am afterall, a human devouring monster.
Again, I learnt in OCS that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Only stupid people. The thing was, they just wanted us all to be brilliant muthafuckas who didn't need to ask any bloody questions to annoy people. Then again, I am a puppy devouring monster.
these are the things you've got to launch yourself into before u ask a question.
1) Is the question relevant?
If yes, proceed to (2) if no, shut up.
2) Have YOU asked the question before?
If yes, shut the fuck up and think hard what the answer was, if no, proceed to (3)
3) Has ANYONE nearby asked the question before?
If yes, shut the fucking hell up, and if no, proceed to (4)
4) Is the answer to the question bloody staring right in front of you?
If yes, shoot yourself. If no, proceed to (5)
5) Ask the question, and probably stop whinging.
This is probably why I never would be a good teacher. I never was an ideal choice to explain any concepts. Surely i understood them all, or at least most of them, but i always hated explaining it to people. Because it just meant that they didn't understand it in the first place, what makes you think they'd understand it when I explain it?
Everytime I get annoyed, I imagine a 4WD speeding at 60mph crushing a puppy dog.
So please, do not annoy me.
Then again, I get damn annoyed at many things. Simple things like, NOT REPLYING my smses. Freight trains 3 am in the morning. Cold toilet seat. Car seat pulled all the way to the front so that I can't get in the car comfortably(i.e short siblings). Retarded Central heating. Corrupt accomodation office. Not replying SMSes. Buses that arrive late. People talking in church. Not replying SMSes.
And yes. Not replying SMSes is my ultimate pet peeve.
I wasted 5p sending u a text message. for Goodness sake. Reply. Oh how many times must i send a bloody message to get a reply!!!?? and its a simple yes or no most of the time.
Then again......... many would complain the same of me. To that, I can only say, I devour kittens for breakfast.

Why is it so darn hard!?
I was walking home after walking Rachel back.. and everyone was going out.. The streets were overwhelmed with semi-drunk students in various states of dress/undress, and i felt abit lonely.. haha..
its not often that i feel lonely, especially when i like being alone lots.. tis was a very strange feeling this loneliness thingamajig. I thought of all the stuff I did this week.. going out.. having fun.. going out more.. and I didn't have a reason to feel lonely!
I guess its jsut finishing all my work (yesterday) and knowing that I am actually... free.. and having nothing to do made me feel lonely.
I might need more work. : ( haha
Its that strange feeling you know.. when the train goes so damn fast.. chugging through towns and villages.. your days are packed, and you hardly have any time for yourself, and you're actually bloody having fun.. And when the train stops, the rush dies with it, and you're left with nothing but an empty shell.
Once again, religion proves useful.
Another strange thing.. I've been sitting here staring at my mapping assignment for the longest time ever. After conversing with Kathryn Margaret Harvey and reassuring Her Most Esteemed Posh Londoness that maps aren't actually all that difficult, i spotted some mistakes in my own assignment (which is rather rare) and i have spent that past hour staring at that mistake, wondering how the hell i got that mistake rather then correct it.
what the hell is wrong with me! argh.
Earlier today, I was in Birchfields park attempting to mount a tree. Yes. Mike's idea. Its always his idea anyway.. We ( me and katie and mike) were there to do some SRT training, especially when we're going down pitches this sunday, and i was absolutely ignorant at performing a particular stunt called free hanging rebelay (though the pitch in eldon hole was sufficiently bitchy enough to have taught me a well endowed lesson). It was fun.. climbing up and down trees, though the weather was a bitch (windy and cold and a little manky), and going up the 50m rope like a threadmill made me feel like a screwed up hamster on a vertical climb.
Thinking about the easter break has got me really excited. Its not only the Holy Season, its also.... The holidays! Yaaaay! Thinking about everything that i've planned for myself over easter is certainly exciting! Caving on sunday (again again!!) finland from monday to sunday!! Cheryl coming to visit on the next next friday and saturday!! Snowdon trip with JT whenever!! and devon on the 10th!! and walking in devon on the 11th!! and meeting up with the geology crew in Brixham on the 13th!! and maybe meeting Penis in exeter when i'm in plymouth!! Tell me how not to be excited..
Don't say things like i'm always excited even if i am. Cus it dampens everything. :D
Time to pack my room, or i'll be doubly screwed tommorow night...

This is when you know whatever you know.
A very drunk Mike, wearing my Jungle hat, strumming my guitar in my room.

So.. we were out tonight, at Font bar, as usual. Loads to drink. Loads to talk about. Loads of other silly stuff to do and laugh at. Which also somehow includes drawing penises on people's back (and my hand) and other various weird stuff.
Its strange how you walk into a pub feeling all horrid and mulling over work and other stuff, and actually come out laughing.
Alcohol does wonders doesn't it?

Despite my sour mood due to my horrendously sour day (essay due.. can't be arsed to go tutorial.. falling asleep while Dr Gilmour rambles on about stupid Mars.. chores to do : (((() Looking at the pictures Mandy put up on flickr made me happy again. Haha.. how silly!
Went down 3 caves, bullpot of the witches (again. and loved it this time round cus got to squeeeze through small holes and stuff), mistral, and Skirwirth, though skirwirth was rather informal.. no equipment other then helmets. : P
This was the picture we took before going into to Mistral
This week is going to be such a freaking busy week. Its insane. I feel like killing myself thinking of all the bloody things i have to do. and its not the end. Sigh.
Going to finland on Monday! YaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! really really excited.. can't wait to see like the 1st person from SFX in bloody ages!!! haha.. And Cheryl's coming to stay during Holy weekend!! Yaaaaaayy!!!!! haha.. more love from SFX and MSC.

Yay.
Pleased with the weekend again. Though I didn't go down any stringy caves with ropes.. I was looking forward to that.. really. We got to wear the new cordura suits the society bought. which were GREAT! haha.. i was so warm i was PESPIRING! strange thing to do that in the cave where i spend about 100% of the time shivering.
Natwest has agreed to give me back my money, and i'm happy.
Pictures will come later this week, because my wussy camera cannot go down caves. : (
I bashed my left shin against a rock while trying to get out of a mud pile, and it hurts.. when i walk.. or run.. or move about too much. But its better then yesterday.. it was red swollen and reeeaaallly painful yesterday. : ( but now its ok i think : D
I'm always afraid of getting injured.
When my back screwed up last year in April, it was a damn major thing for me. I was in constant pain, and my doctor.. wasn't really an optimistic fella.. I saw 3 doctors, and all 3 told me theres nothing much i can do with a fucking prolapsed disc unless I go for an operation. So I just had to stick with physio, and walking with the right posture (which i have erm.. thrown away). I remember how worried and anxious i was those days. I felt as if i was useless or disabled.. i felt strange. Couldn't play tennis.. hurt so much just to sit in one position for a long time, and didn't help that i went for 3 military planning exercises at one go. : ( crazy bugger.
Now it still hurts from time to time.. when the weather's really shitty, and when i sit with a bad posture in my study chair for a long long time. Otherwise its fine when i go caving, walking, running, tenissing, and stuff.
Apparently, I read off some medical website that I should not stop doing what i'm doing, and carry on with my life as normal, and use painkillers when necessary.. Apparently, its not a crippling injury (unless its very very serious).. and by being active.. the stupid disc will reduce its size and the pain will go away! yay! thats what my tennis coach says too.
Anyway. the point is.. i hate being anxious/worrysome about things/stuff in general. Even getting minor injuries.
it snowed a little in the dales before we left. whee..
