This so doesn't float my boat.

Ok. 2 weeks of not doing anything. 2 weeks. 14 days. 2 weeks. 14 days.

I'm going crazy. Officially.

I called my mum yesterday and went into a tirade on how silly it was to come to Plymouth thinking that luck, (yes, all laugh, LUCK) would get the better of me and will probably attain gainful employment within 2 weeks of arrival. Boy was I stupid.

Left a job, friends, activities, and a city I'm familliar with for this strange place that I have no affinity with. Bloody hell.

So yes, there is THaT 1 job interview next week that I am hopeful for.. hopefully I get the job, or I can just cry/die.

So.. So much time to myself. Did loads of reading, cooking, cleaning, reading, sleeping, reading. and abit of caving.

Boring huh.

I did think how else could I more efficiently carve my time out.. and i realised that my personality (refer to prev. post) got the better of me.

I'm the kind of person who needs plans. I need to know things like... what time we leaving, how we getting there, what we eating, where we staying. I need to knowwwwww.... and note.. i used we. Because I hate doing something i've never done before, alone.

Even though I like to be alone 80% of the time (i.e when i'm working, intense studying, facebooking, praying, bathing, sleeping, reading, gardening, cleaning, walking, feeding fish, etcetera etcetera.)

I'm a strange one am I?

And to excaberate matters, I don't know people here.. Well yeah.. I do know a few people here.. acquaintances whom I go caving with.. people i've only met in the past 2 weeks.. thats about it.. oh yes, and Bart in tavistock. which is like a 20 min drive in some compass direction ( i don't even know where!!!!!)

Silly isn't it?

So I don't know. I don't fancy walking Dartmoor alone (though its only a stones throw away), nor do I fancy staying home all damn day long. so i'm stuck. in a rut. garr.

If only I was back home in Sillypore. I'd have about 856405814754957496769458 things to do. : (

so what would I do if i were in Sillypore?

1) Church - SFX! Of course!
2) Tennis lessons with my favouritus coach Lenny!
3) Tennis with various other peoples at my house/gardens tennis centre.
4) Teaching tuuiition.
5) People to meet up with! Tonnes.. loads!!
6) Plotting to kidnap Grigori yip and make him sit through mass. regardless.
7) Kayaking stars..
8) EAT. EAT. EAT.
9) SHOP
10) PLAY. (i.e sit around and drink copious amounts of alcohol and heading to the transvestite district (changi village) to poke fun at trannies and cabbies.. oh those were the days......)

I can't do any of the above here. : (

So.. in a plan to get myself out of the rut.. I have come up with a battle sequence. No no no.. we're not going to go through the whole damn 15 step battle planning (step 1: receipt of orders from HHQ, step 2: conduct of prelimn planning + issue WO to sub units . . . . . wow i still remember). But just enough.. to get me off my ass.. and get some things i wanna do done.

Yet.. being stuck here.. i'm in no way unhappy. or depressed. or anything negative.. its strange.. i just feel. bored. nevertheless cheerful.. and happy enough.

i think.

DyS3 20SA Speaking.

I had this sudden flux of insanity. I blame it on Adrianna (in a good way).

HK - Guangzhou - Nanning -Pinxiang -Hanoi -Hue -Saigon -Phnom Penh - Siem Reap -Poiphot -Aranyathet -Bangkok -Huahin -KL -Singapore.

Crossing 5 countries, 7 languages, in 23 days, on rail, bus and foot.

So it began last night, and i've been verociously looking up how and where and what and everything i need to know.. I even mailed adri about it.. and she enthusiastically replied.. probably suprised that anyone wants to do a border crossing at Poiphot on foot as well.

I came up with a spreadsheet coming up with the timelines, and fare costs.. and everything else.. even a vague itinerary. It isn't even a year before i will return to the region!

Then I realised.

I am actually behaving like how they wanted me, and trained me to behave. They. The SAF. Them who took 2.5 years of my life away. Who made me call myself DyS3 20SA. Who made me sit and plan for things that weren't prolly going to happen, and plan for things that did happen. Who made me think like that.

I was planning too much!! Damn. Every single shit little detail!

So I've decided.. stop planning, and let life take its own course. Things will, WILL fall in place eventually?

. . . . . . . . Wouldn't it?

Oh shucks back to the spreadsheet. damn it.

What a big knob you are.

"So, how has the past few months been?"

"What'dya mean past few months?"

"You know, the time you've spent in England..."

"School and stuff?" I replied..

"Yea..."

"Yeah. its alright.. I learnt loads of stuff, had quite alot of fun, and met more new people.. it was good.. "

"Thats great.. no knobby incidents?"

"Knobby incidents? WTF!?"

"You know.. like then.. when that happened?"

"Hmm... probably one. Not very nice, and not about to talk about it.."

"So who was the knob?"

"You're inquisitive. And I believe the knob was me."

"Thats quite straightforward.. you're always getting yourself into these tight little nooks and crannies isn't it?"

"Thats why I go caving..."

"Thats not the point... I.."

"I know what the point is.. That i'm such a big fucking knob sometimes.."

"hmm.. Yeah.. after 16 years.. I'd still say yeah.."

hmm...

2 interviews, one in birmingham.. one here in plymouth. which to go to?

I might change the one in Birmingham to london.. so can go see people there again! yay!

I typed Caving as Vaginc in msn. Does that vaguely resemble a word we're not supposed relate to in caving? hmm. . . . my fingers are wonky.
