Happy days!

Copenhagen was soo good. I loved it. We went round on bikes looking at stuff and buildings in the city. It was brilliant. It might be on the expensive side.. but hell.. i liked the city, loads. And contrary to popular belief, Danes are very friendly. There wasn't a single Dane who was rude/obnoxious.. even those who can't speak english tried their very best.. leaving me and them in stitches.. There was this sweet old lady who was trying to explain how to get to Nooerport from the City centre.. and she was just gesticulating wildly until her daughter came to the rescue and translated it! haha. Ivan's place was super nice! grrr.

In Stockholm now, and had a light night out.. looking forward to the sights tommmorow!

In retrospect..

A couple of years ago, when I was considering my options for university, I thought of going to Canada, France, and Germany beside Britain to study Geology. There were various reasons as to why I had chosen the specific universities and region, but it all came to naught when itall boiled down to convenience.

I lost my book today in the Copenhagen airport. Grrr. THose who know me well enough know that I DO NOT LEND books. I DO NOT FOLD books. I LOVE MY books. And losing a book to me was more devastating then losing my wallet (which I did 3 days ago).

Anyway, it was The Zahir by Paulo Coelo. The first chapter ceremoniously questioned the all time favourite philosophy of What is Life? and Are you Happy?

I don't think the meaning of life and happiness are at all related. I believe that the meaning of life is THE pursuit of Happiness. I guess the intepretation of this philosophy can be varied form person to person.. I don't know.

I thought about travelling. I do like moving around alot (rather fucking obvious by now isn't it?) a few months here, a few months there, and i'm planning on a long trip to somewhere again. It is rather strange. I doubt I will ever find this happyness that Paulo talks about.

I'm in copenhagen now.. Day one of unwinding. Hurrah. Many more days to go.
