Because I might actually be part of a society, even if i don't like it.

thought maybe I should account for my disappearance. Where I've been, what I've done.. and throw in a couple of those 'photos' that I promised and spoke so much about..

Ok. most of the photos are robbed from people who loaded them up on facebook. I can't fucking be arsed to put mine up because, there you have it, I am beginning to hate technology. This whole electricity and internet thing... is SO overated. like really. You'll understand when we get to the end.

So last school term, like after like fucking Easter, was probably the most insane, hardworking, hedonistic, busy, and fun all at once. I scored lovely grades.. a couple of very high 1st class grades.. and maybe 1 high 2nd uppers.. so not bad ol'boy. Keep it up.

I met someone, met another one, got abit confused. Didn't like what I was thinking, didn't quite like what I was doing, and in the end everything came out pooey, and I actually felt, OK. It could well explain why I'm listening to mozart's omnes generationes on loop for the 678687678th time.

Its ok, because I know that I never like what I'm doing, never pleased, never happy with my own decisions. I am like that. You (me) just have to fucking live with it. My project that scored 80% was a mere(with tongue sticking out) shit work that wasn't worth the marks.

OK so we've established that.

moving on. Summer was one big fucking hectic chunk of 9 weeks of tent living, squalid tramp like conditions, countryside enjoying, river plodding, cave searching, rock staring, rope washing, geology caving extreme - ness. 2 parts, Geology and the Caving part.

Loved the Caving part to fucking bits. but lets talk about the Geology part first.

So apparently, the university needs the 2nd year students to do like this thing, like, you know, like, this thing.. dee-zer-tay-shun they call it.. so yeah.. we've got to like go into like the wilderness and like.. map the fucking geology and look at the rocks and shit.

yes. thats what i did. for 6 weeks. Lived in a tent, commuted to a reasonably tall peak-ish area, and did 6 weeks worth of rock staring excitement:

My mapping area
Frost and merren having a laugh

Frost and friends on a day visit to me and bart's mountains

Camp Royale (comes with the flies)

Geology man steve (he was meant to be burnt)

OK. tired now. its half one in the morning. part II tmr. promise.
