Can rocks bend?

Thats what I've been reading today. Yes they can.. and apparently, they are more ductile than metal. Ooh. I fail to see how this will come up in my exams in a month.

Christmas is tommorow. We are not sure if one looks forward to it with the right perspective. We look forward to the day pass, a new arrival, a new chance as usual, but behind the countenance of hope and thanksgiving, there is the malapropos of wishing that the lingering time would make haste and disappear all together. Then, there is the issue of the heap of work that awaits me.

This season has never been connected with joyous celebrations or family connections at the most massive of proportions. The only connection that I feel with the 25th of December, is that of my religious obligations. Now that the parish in which I attend in Plymouth has closed, I find myself wondering why at all I even bother.

2 Christmas meals, and a few well wishing cards after, I find myself wondering how different the day today will be from tommorow, as compared to say, the new year.

Temptation would have me succumb to a trip into the mendips for a spot of caving. But armed with neither my kit, nor my exuberant health, I find the trip to be only a wayward dream.

I sink back into my books and maps. How unfortunate.

Alternatively, the amount of work I could conquer with this week and a half left of boring and lonely solitude could positively reverse my poorly situation that currently lacks a freedom of time.

(I find myself writing too much like a victorian. I must stop reading those dreadful books written in the victorian era, and be smitten by the witty language, and eccentricity.)
