Neu Jahr?

Doesn't quite feel like it.

But 2008 was a good year, filled with busyness and interestingly new experiences we shan't forget for a long time.

There was the discovery of the scottish mountains, and the subsequent falling in like with the scottish mountains.

Then the ominously insane 9 week trip to spain, and the subsequent falling head over fucking heels in love with spain.

Then there was the managing to pull a good grade even with the amount of things i do. insane

The last 2 months haven't been good i'm afraid. Busy as fuck.. lacking time to do work, and work standard's dropping like an egg from the 10th floor. shit.

Anyhoo. New resolutions for THIS year.. hopefully i keep to them..

1) To live a clean life. Thats no more insane drunkedness, which was a major highlight in 2008. Also, to get up at DAYBREAK EVERYDAY. I woke up at 6am a couple of weeks ago and did that for a couple more days afterwards because when i stepped out of the house for a walk, i was touched by that insane peace and calm that overcame me. I want to feel that everyday when i have back, my bloody freedom.

2) To live as freely as possible. Sometimes, i make decisions that are bad, and they tie me up. I can't have fun, I end up crying miserably (i don't really cry per se.. but u get the point), and i think this holidays is an example of a bad Jason Decision. I want to live freely and enjoy every fucking moment.

3) Not regret my decisions. Thats something that i set out to do many years ago.. when i first enlisted into the army i think.. and it was tough.. but i managed to stick to my guns for a couple of years, and recently, i've begin to have doubts about myself.. so yeah... make right decisions = no regrets.

4) $$$ be as frugal as possible. 8 more months to either extreme poverty, or wealth beyond my wildest dreams. No idea which is going to happen, but i pray its the latter.

5) Dress genteely, I'd like to not give myself and excuse to wear just jeans and tees everyday. i know i can dress very well sometimes, and i should stick to it..

2009 has alot of hope and dreams, and I have no idea what will happen as usual. Plans NEVER stick.

Things that are sticking defo: trip to spain, 3 weeks. tickets already booked, camping for 8 days (cave searching), madrid debauchery 2 days, university sponsored holiday 10 days. yay.

and bloody graduation. and exams. and dissertation. and finding work. I hope i can get a job dammit.
