Rage.

Some white chick was sitting in the library complaining how difficult it was to attend her chinese lessons then go for a lecture in english. very loudly. like one of those chink-wannabes who try too hard to be different. I wanted to punch her face in.

Last night, I feel the same rage that Little Dorrit had when she returned from italy and ran into Mr Clennam in the Bleeding Heart Yard. I felt the same damned rage that is so undeserved. I think the double gin tonic and 3/4 pint of cider did the trick.

Last exam tommorow. very excited. The first thing i'm doing exam post-haste. Is to go to ASDA to buy some real food. REAL food. No more chocolate bars, mars bars, and rotten snacks.

I discovered Vege cafe with a friend recently. It is amazing. I swear i would never support a cause so mal apropros as vegetarianism, but the cafe is just amazing. The food tastes bloody amazing, so do the cakes, and the prices reasonable, and theres no cause de jure screaming kindness to animals.. its just a plain cafe serving amazing home cooked food. Everyone should eat there. I've eaten there in the past 2 weeks, every-damn day. It has surpassed Chicken cottage down rusholme as the Food Temple.

dang and all...

I really do just have to write something to mark the time even though i have been incredibly busy for the past year or so.

I think i'm 3/4 enjoying my life now. so thats fine.

There are bits i don't really like.. the bits involving alot of late night work drawing maps, and pretending that rock is porn, and writing 10k words about rocks or very very long dead animals. Those bits are memorably, painful. But they're ok when i get my grade As. : )

I have realised over the past 3 months or so, that i take a particular prediliction in dead animals. Yes. dead animals. Not just your average dead road kill on the road, but ancient dead animals. big or small. don't matter. I like them ancient, and definitely dead. Something about it that makes me think I can get away with making a career out of dead animals, like denise's dad has done.

About caves and mountains, as much as I'd like to put more photos up, my camera has decided that 5 years of torture is more then enough. It has served me well. It has been to; Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Brunei, Britain, Spain, France, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland. 12 different countries. So thats pretty good. It has been through rain, puddles, river, sea, mud and land. I won't particularly miss it.. especially when my next camera is going to be a Pentax Optio thats waterproof shock proof and all that shit.. So all i've got to do is buy myself a flash slave, and we're going to start snapping photos in caves. Woop!

But yes. I promise, as soon as i get my new camera, I will put more photos up. Thats a promise to myself. Yay.

Weekends once again, from March onwards, are chocked full of mountains, hills and caves. I am very excited. BUt first, I've got to survive the torment that is february. Heavy deadlines, insane amounts of work. : ( sad face.

I've been thinking about relationships and people and stuff.. and how amazingly unsuccessful i have been in the past 2.5 years of living in Britain. I figured that there were many many reasons for this amazing failure, the most important of which is trust. I find it difficult to give explicit trust, and worse of all.. I find it difficult to even trust myself. Secondary to that, I have recently in a short experiment prior to summer, found it extremely difficult to share my life. My life is fucking mine, and i want it to remain that way. I can't have someone telling me i've got to go here, do that, eat this, be there. I will fucking die. Sadly, this meant that relationships end rather quickly, in exasperation on my part mostly. And well, what can i say? 2008, was a year of intimacy without intricacies. Bad bad jason.

Hopefully 09 will be different, and hopefully better. I've gone to mass more often now. And i don't want no more intimacy without intricacies, not that its bad. But this is all going to be a huge challenge with the plans that i'm setting myself to acheive. A new job somewhere other then manchester, expeditions, adventures, and all sorts. I don't think the person who i will meet will at all enjoy the absent partner. Neither will I if they whine. I hate whining.

So help me God.
